Commercialization
The Foundation has the logistical capacity, the specialized personnel, the equipment and the necessary resources for the participation in competitive international markets. The field personnel is qualified to identify the suitable crop moment, collaborating with the producer to obtain a quality product.
Multure contracts have been signed with two organizations of producers for packing pineapple and also with a company for orange juice processing. It is planned to start operations on our own plant in the last trimester of 2005.
There are procedures and registrations for the continuation of the product in the agricultural activities of crop, post-crop handling, transportation to the plant, packing and shipment to the final destination, in order to assure the client the inoculation of the product delivered, according to the international standards of quality.
The registration in the Fair Trade, approved by Fair Trade Labeling Organization (FLO) has given the organization the opportunity to participate in this market niche, through the company Agro Fair Europe BV, in Holland, and Nicofrtutta, in Italy as commercial partners, becoming in the first ones, in the world, exporting pineapples using this registration.
The products in the market, at the moment, are: Valencia variety orange; MD2 variety Pineapple, roots and tubers. Each project has an investigation and validation plan, opening opportunities for the production and commercialization of new cultivations. That is the case of the minivegetales which, at the end of the 2005, will be available for sale. |
